The Group growth story.

The Intelling business was incorporated by Phil Morgan in July 2012 with the launch of Intelling Ltd, a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company focusing on new customer acquisition.

Since then it has rapidly evolved and grown. Switch Experts, a value led switching service, launched in 2014. Followed by Neatley, a unified communications and digital service provider, in 2017.

With £3m NVM investment in March 2017, Intelling Group was established formalising the symbiotic relationship between these three businesses. The Group built a strategic framework to accelerate growth and in sixteen months, doubled revenue from £7.3m to £14.5m. In July 2020 Group revenue reached £21.75m.


  • July – Intelling is incorporated and opens its Manchester head office
  • August – TalkTalk commissions Intelling to deliver new customer acquisition


  • Dec – Growth funding is awarded to Intelling with Maven Capital
  • Dec – Intelling wins New Call Telecom contract, cementing a move into full customer
    management services

Intelling Ltd achieves £2m revenue in its first year


  • April – O2 engages Intelling to deliver a proof of concept
  • May – Switch Experts starts trading under the National Broadband Service
  • July – MissGuided and Intelling partner on a re-shoring evaluation project

Intelling Ltd achieves £3m revenue


  • May – O2 Telefonica awards direct telesales and customer management contract to Intelling
  • Sept – With the support of Invest NI, Intelling expands into Northern Ireland creating 250 new roles from its flagship Belfast office
  • Nov – Intelling’s Indian offshore customer service support capability opens

Intelling Group achieves £4.7m revenue


  • April – Intelling wins MissGuided customer management contract
  • Sept – Intelling expands, opening a new office and creating 60 jobs in Burnley,Lancashire

Intelling Group achieves £6.3m revenue


  • March – Intelling Group is incorporated following £3m NVM investment
  • April – Neatley launches, to build the Group’s first customer asset base
  • April – The National Broadband Service is rebranded to Switch Experts and expands product offerings

  • Sept – Switch Experts expands into the mobile switching market
  • Oct – The Group formalises its strategic partnerships in South Africa

Intelling Group achieves rapid growth in sixteen months hitting revenue of £14.5m


  • May – Intelling Ltd expands offshore capabilities with back office support
  • June – Galileo Information, Technology and Digital transformation programme launches
  • July – Intelling Ltd digital marketing and data generation capability launches
  • Sept – Experian appoints Intelling Ltd to deliver a proof of concept, marking a move into the financial services sector
